Please give us a short insight off how you have become a Sales Manager!
Valeria: I really don’t know how it happened. Actually my dream was being a PR person, then Marketing Manager, then Dancer. I became Sales Manager because I can talk a lot and mostly obtain what I want. (It’s gonna be public? Oh well…)
Simon: Being from a family of entrepreneurs, I have always been around the sale process then I had the chance 4 years ago to work for a major player in the industry where I learned the tools of the trade and became really involved in the performance marketing industry.
Okay, but what did you actually want to become when you were a child?
Valeria: I wanted to be a cute-animals-doctor. Taking care only of the fluffy, cute, animals.
Simon: Race car driver!
What are your strengths – especially related to your work?
Valeria: I always smile, I stay positive and strong and am extremely motivated.
Simon: I have hold multiple roles in the industry which allowed me to have a deep understanding of the affiliation world. I think my ability to see multiple business angles has also helped me greatly.
Do you like to talk a lot at work, or do you rather like to type and write with partners?
Valeria: Every communication with a partner is precious for me, no matter how I communicate with him/them.
Simon: I personally think having a conversation is a great way to share your vision with your partners. Plus it gives a more humane feel to a business relationship.
What are you looking most forward to at the Gaelic Conference?
Valeria: I am chasing webmaster and new partnerships. I am also happy to meet some of my „old“ contacts.
Simon: Seeing all the old and new friends I’ve made throughout the years for sure!
